Prelude Vidal Blanc

A prelude is a short piece of music used to introduce another work, but can also serve as a stand-alone piece, often improvisatory in nature with virtuosic motifs. Bach’s collection of 24 preludes represents such formally free, stylistic, and rather unique pieces.

Like such preludes, this Vidal Blanc is unique in style. Unlike traditional white winemaking methods, this Vidal Blanc was fermented using whole berries. The result is a dry wine of a curious orange color with light tannins and a distinguished flavor of ripe fruits. Enjoy the distinctive taste and aroma of this wine, slightly chilled, with seafood, poultry, salads topped with vinaigrettes, and other foods prepared with acidic sauces and dressings.
