Cabernet Franc 2020

Light/medium bodied with a pale garnet color, this 2020 Cabernet Franc has seductive aromas of pomegranate, vanilla, dried strawberries, and toasted marshmallow. In a typical Cab Franc fashion, its rustic and grippy tannins compliment the notes of dried strawberry, raspberry, vanilla, butterscotch, and graphite. Espresso and charred wood also play in a role in shaping the tannins, giving this wine some extra length and breadth. Unfined and unfiltered.

Teroldego 2021

An Italian grape variety that found a perfect home in Maryland. Deep purple in color with aromas of ripe black fruit, plum, cassis, black pepper, and caramel. Complexity ensues with subtle notes of dill, olive, and brown sugar. Full body with medium plus tannins, with rich notes of blueberry, black currants, violets, and baked clay. A high intensity wine dominated by the dark fruit, and counter balanced with well integrated oak tannins. Unfined and unfiltered.

Adagio 2020

The nose exhibits refined notes of cinnamon, coconut, and cigar box. The palate pleasantly surprises you with more fruit than you would expect, like candied cherries, raspberries, freesia, figs, butterscotch, and wild strawberries. Some savory elements come into play like graphite and white pepper, adding a level of complexity to this playful wine. The beautiful expression of Six Wicket’s terroir shines. A classic alluring Syrah, estate grown on our steep hillside on a southern aspect at Catoctin Breeze, and one of our crowning jewels for the 2021 vintage, co-fermented with 5% estate grown Viognier. The nose showcases a beautiful and youthful bouquet of roses, red fruit, and black pepper. The wine itself has an elegant frame and fruity vibrancy to it, rich with notes of black pepper, black cherry, and leather. The front of the palate is met with the freshness of brambles and a well integrated savoriness, reminiscent of tobacco and forest floor. On the finish the wine will close with medium tannins and a note of cedar, adding another degree of complexity to this bright wine. Unfined and unfiltered.

An Italian grape variety that found a perfect home in Maryland. With freshly brewed espresso on the nose, this medium bodied wine has notes of pomegranate, grilled black plum, bramble, smoke, cedar, and dill. The palate is layered with notes of black cherry, vanilla, mocha, and butterscotch. It has a well-balanced structure that showcases juicy acidity, complemented by supple tannins, and a soft texture on the finish. Decant the wine, and pair with roasted rack of lamb with rosemary, thyme, garlic, and marjoram. Unfined and unfiltered.

Medium ruby in color with expressive notes of plum, wild strawberry, and pomegranate on the nose. Juicy acidity with plush tannins. The palate showcases notes of black cherry, vanilla, graphite, and baking spices. The wine is comprised of 86% Cabernet Franc, 7% Merlot, and 7% Teroldego. The wine was aged in 70% brand new French and American oak barrels, and 30% neutral oak for 10 months. Pair with summertime barbecue chicken and roasted vegetables. Unfined and unfiltered.

Orange, lime and lemons, but all zest. A little bit of green melon, kind of brings to mind what Yoshi from Super Mario used to eat. Some sea breeze, cucumber water and lavender. MEMBERS ONLY. Clean. Pops with mouthwatering acidity and notes of underripe green pears, tart red grapefruit vesicle, slightly under ripe white peaches, a vague melon, and verbena. Water fountain minerality with a little salted foam on the finish. Pair with anything from the Chesapeake Bay.

A multi vineyard blend of Chardonnay from both Catoctin Breeze and Six Wicket Vineyards. The wine has a brilliant pale lemon color, giving you a preview of how light and refreshing it will be. Notes of bruised apple, lemon, white pear, wet stone, and dandelion on the nose. The wine further unfolds with flavors of lime zest, lemon, and wet stone. On the finish there is a very subtle note of crème fraiche and roundness, polishing some of citrus notes. Pair with grilled white fish in a lemon butter sauce.
